The FINUG 2016 workshop will gather the European researchers investigating uranium based germanides. It is open to chemists and physicists, experimentalists and theoreticians. The aim is to present the last results about the synthesis of new compounds, their crystallographic description, the characterization of their magnetic, electrical and thermal properties as well as the latest developments in understanding their complex behaviours. The workshop is open to any actinide or rare earth based compounds presenting strong electronic correlations, and to any advanced characterization technique in this research area.
